On to the Next Chapter

Things continued on normally for a while. Life moved on and while things were not perfect, it was as normal for me as it could be. We had to move after a pipe burst in our trailer and flooded it. The landlords did not want to fix it and told us that we would have until a certain time to find a new place. We found a place in Riley Indiana to rent but it was a little higher than what we could afford. My mom and dad talked to the landlord and to our surprise, they told us they would lower the price so that we could afford it. We moved in not too long after that and things were going great. Until my grandma died. My mom was her care taker and so she was devastated as was I because all three of us were very close. My grandma was the reason I came to love baking.  After that my dad was at work when we got a call from them saying that he was getting taken to the hospital. He was having a heart attack. Later we found out he had multiple over time and he never knew. He thought that he was j...

Continuing On...

So with everything happening, I was still able to keep hanging out with my friends and take care of my mom. One day, I remember certain things but not everything clearly. I was invited to a sleepover with a couple of friends and they were coming to pick me up but I wanted to eat something. I wasn't feeling right and I told my friends that I didn't feel good, and then I remember f...

While she was unconscious, my sister was born stillborn and my mom never got to say goodbye to her. She went through a very hard time after that with depression. She had two boys and wanted a girl very much so it was also very devastating that she lost her girl and didn't get to say goodbye. Her plan was to be done having children after my sister but she tried one more time and she got me! Now I also gave her a run for her money from the moment I was born. I was born a month and a half early, lost weight, and had spinal meningitis. I also happened to turn blue one day while my mom was feeding me. Neither of us knew what the future held for the both of us and that our stru...
